Thrushaway Green Smoothie

Sufferers of vaginal thrush may well be able to banish their symptoms with a daily Thrushaway Green Smoothie. Candida is another name for the itching, redness around the vagina, thick white discharge (no smell), burning when urinating and pain during sex that typify thrush. This smoothie provides the body with micronutrients – building blocks for every cell. It shifts the pH balance towards an alkaline state, which deters yeast overgrowth and infection. Into a blender put:

250ml of filtered water

Juice of half a lemon or lime

3 inches of chopped cucumber

A stick of celery

Quarter of avocado

Sprig of parsley

6 – 8 basil leaves

Blend all ingredients together and drink half first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything else. Have the rest at lunchtime or in the afternoon,
